Matthew Palentchar grew up in Colonia, NJ playing sports like baseball, basketball, football and soccer, but these days, he spends a lot more time as a very accomplished lawyer, with about a dozen years’ experience under his belt. After high school, Matt earned a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and then he received a scholarship to attend Ohio Northern University, where he earned his Juris Doctor.
After law school, Matthew moved to Florida and passed the bar exam, at which point he began his law career with a general practice law firm in Naples, Florida. While he was there, he practiced in real estate, estate planning, civil, criminal and business law. Before long, however, he went off on his own and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran from 2005 through 2010. Unfortunately, a life threatening illness and other personal issued forced him to leave Florida for a time, but when he became well again and got through those personal obstacles, he returned to Florida more focused and feeling better than ever and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his wife Heather and their two dogs. His current firm features a far more specific focus on real estate transactions and property law. While he does more routine real estate work, like title searches, title exams, and issuing title insurance for residential and commercial closings, Matt Palentchar has also represented hundreds of lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions.
